Engine Specs, Cargo Space and Dimensions
2024 Ford Ranger
The 2024 Ford Ranger is available in XL, XLT, Lariat and the high-performance Raptor trims. Rear-wheel drive and part-time four-wheel drive are standard on the XL, XLT, and Lariat, while the Raptor comes with full-time four-wheel drive. Powering the lower trims is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, a familiar choice from previous models. The XLT and Lariat also offer an optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6, producing 315 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The performance-oriented Ranger Raptor features a powerful 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6, cranking out an impressive 405 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. All engines for the 2024 Ford Ranger are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and towing capacities max out at a formidable 7500 pounds, with the Raptor model maxing out at 5510 pounds. Offered with a four-door Supercrew five-passenger cab, the 2024 Ford Ranger has a bed dimension of five feet, which translates to 43.5 cubic feet of cargo space, and is plenty of room for all of your gear and then some.
2024 Ford Super Duty
Back in 2023, the Ford Super Duty lineup received a major redesign, featuring new engine options. The base XL trim is powered by a 6.8-liter V8 gas engine, producing 405 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. Upgrading to the XLT and higher trims unlocks the 7.3-liter V8, which outputs 430 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque. For maximum power, the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel engine is available across the F-250, F-350, and F-450 models. This engine comes in two versions: a high-output model with 500 horsepower and a staggering 1,200 lb-ft of torque, and a standard-output version that offers 457 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to towing, the 2024 Ford Super Duty really outshines the Ford Ranger. With a gooseneck setup, it can tow up to 40,000 pounds, while conventional towing allows for up to 13,700 pounds. Customers of Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova and Folsom will also have more passenger space options, with a choice between a regular cab, an extended SuperCab, or a four door SuperCrew cab, and two bed dimensions, a 6.8 foot-bed or an 8.-foot bed. The 6.8-foot bed offers 65.4 cubic feet of cargo space, and the 8-foot bed has 78.5 cubic feet of cargo space.
