Program Details
To qualify, students must meet one of the following criteria:
- Active College/Trade School Students: Enrolled full-time or half-time according to the standards of an accredited four-year college/university, junior college, community college, or trade school.
- Active Graduate Students: Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate school program.
- Recent College Graduates: Graduated within the past two years.
- High School Seniors or Recent High School Graduates: Must have completed all graduation requirements or have an anticipated graduation date and a letter of intent to attend a qualifying university.
- Participants in College Student Internships, Trade School Apprenticeships, and Medical Student Residencies: Must be currently attending or enrolled for the next semester.
- Ineligible Student Categories: Students enrolled less than half-time based on the specifications of an accredited college/university/trade school. Individuals completing one-course certificates. Participants in on-the-job training courses (e.g., sales training, teaching certificates, professional designations, adult education courses). Students enrolled in English as a second language courses.
Proof of Student Eligibility
To verify eligibility, you must provide proof of full-time or half-time enrollment status according to the standards of an accredited four-year college/university, junior college, community college, or trade school.
Alternatively, for students between terms (e.g., summer semester/vacation) or recent high school seniors starting college in the fall, proof of prior or future term enrollment is required. Acceptable documentation includes, but is not limited to:
- Copy of college/university diploma
- Copy of final transcript
- Letter from the college/university/trade school registrar’s office stating the conferred graduation date and type of degree earned
- Dated letter of intent confirming enrollment (valid for no more than six months)
- Current class schedule
