The Isuzu N-Series Gas Trucks

If you are not sure which truck is right for your business, then we are happy to help you explore different options and show you what Isuzu has to offer. Every Isuzu truck is a low cab forward (LCF) model built to get some serious work done, but you still have plenty of options available to you so you can get precisely what you need. The N-Series Gas trucks are the perfect place to start when looking at different Isuzu models, and they include trucks with Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR) of around 12,000 lbs. Isuzu’s N-Series Gas trucks include both Class 3 and Class 4 models with different cab sizes available; Isuzu’s standard cab has a single bench seat inside for up to three passengers, while their crew cab gives you two rows for up to seven people. Going with a standard cab allows for longer body lengths on your truck, so it is important to consider what you need for your business before making a decision.

The Isuzu N-Series Class 5 Gas Trucks

If you need a truck for your business that can handle more weight and you still prefer a gas-powered engine, then this is the way to go. One of the remarkable things about the Isuzu lineup of trucks is that they offer LCF models with gas engines, something you are not likely to find anywhere else. As the name suggests, these are gas-powered Class 5 trucks designed for applications where you need to be able to load more weight onto your vehicle. You have several different options to choose from here, including standard and crew cabs, plus you can find models built to handle varying amounts of weight. Expect a GVWR of around 17,500 to 19,500 lbs with these trucks, but they do not go over 20,000 lbs of GVWR. Like the other Isuzu models we are looking at, you get fantastic warranty coverage on these N-Series Class 5 Gas trucks that covers their engines, drive axles, Allison transmissions, frame rails, and more. We can also help you with extended warranties if you want to take protection for your truck even further.

The Isuzu N-Series Diesel Trucks

Leaving gas trucks behind now, here is the first of two different series that comes with a diesel engine to provide enhanced power and long-term reliability. The N-Series Diesel trucks are similar to the previous ones we have looked at, with the major distinction that they have incredible diesel engines rather than standard gas-powered ones. If you want a Class 3 truck, then you will need to go with one of the N-Series Gas trucks; the Diesel models start with Class 4 and include Class 5 trucks as well. This means you can get from around 14,500 lbs of GVWR to more than 19,000 lbs of GVWR with these trucks. You will find both standard and crew cabs on diesel models, too. Perhaps best of all, Isuzu supports its diesel engines, transmissions, and more components with great standard warranty coverage.

The Isuzu F-Series Trucks

So far, the models we have looked at included Class 3 trucks with gas engines along with Class 4 and Class 5 trucks featuring gas or diesel engines. If you are looking for something that can handle even more weight, then you need to check out the Isuzu F-Series of trucks and everything it has to offer. The F-Series includes Class 6 and Class 7 trucks, with GVWR from more than 25,000 lbs to well over 30,000 lbs, depending on the model. All F-Series trucks come with a powerful turbo diesel engine with long wheelbases that can support body lengths longer than the N-Series, so you can load more weight onto these trucks and larger boxes or other platforms. Due to their design, only single-row standard cabs are available for the F-Series, though you can choose between different wheelbase lengths to get precisely what you need. Since the F-Series features diesel engines, they enjoy the same warranty coverage as the N-Series Diesel trucks while giving you incredible capabilities.

Finally, for something a bit different, Isuzu has recently released its first N-Series EV trucks, providing an option for transporting cargo with zero emissions and no need for gas. Available with a standard cab, you can get more than 19,000 lbs of GVWR from one of these trucks when properly configured, giving you an impressive piece of machinery for a new era of trucking and last-mile deliveries. Isuzu has developed a modular battery system for the N-Series EV trucks, letting you choose between three and nine batteries on one of these trucks; more batteries increase charge capacity for larger models and greater range from a full charge. This is cutting-edge technology with more than 200 miles of estimated range from a full charge with a nine-battery model in some cases, ensuring your team can take care of everything you need and then make it back to recharge overnight. Battery-powered trucks are not right for every business just yet; if you can take advantage of what they offer, then the Isuzu N-Series EV trucks are a great choice that will give you an edge over your competition.
