Exciting new packages help make the 2025 Ford Bronco stand out greatly from the competition, as well as standard equipment to ensure that you’re getting more value out of the 2025 Bronco than ever before. You’ll be hard-pressed to find better in the competition, such as the Jeep Wrangler or Toyota 4Runner, given how much you get with the 2025 Bronco and all of the new features and options made available for potential shoppers. This is all earmarked by the new standard equipment featuring a larger digital display cluster, dedicated air conditioning vents, and a new audio speaker system, along with packages and special editions available for the 2025 model year.

There are two new packages and an all-new special edition. One of the new packages is the heritage-inspired Free-Wheeling Package, featuring a classic look and livery that pays homage to the Bronco from the 1970s and 1980s. This includes the red, orange, and yellow gradient graphics and uniquely styled wheels and finishes, along with red and orange stitching for the interior. Additionally, there is the all-new Black Appearance Package, featuring black-molded-in-color accents and trimming for the mirror caps, fender flares, door handles, and grille. When paired with the Sasquatch Package, glossy-black painted aluminum alloy wheels and a black beadlock ring are added to its maximum off-road capabilities.

The Stroppe Special Edition is a throwback to the Baja 1000-winning series of SUVs of the Bronco from the 1960s and 1970s. Featuring the HOSS 3.0 high-performance suspension, the unique Baja Mode for the GOAT Modes, and a unique Oxford White, Code Orange, and Atlas Blue exterior. You have a similar color scheme inside, along with Stroppe Special Edition badging. It joins the line-up of six other trims, which includes the Base, Big Bend, Heritage Edition, Outer Banks, Badlands, and the Raptor.

Powertrains

There are three powertrains available for the 2025 Bronco, all configured in four-wheel drive. There are two main powertrains across the various trims and a dedicated powertrain for the Raptor. The two main powertrains include the 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost inline 4-cylinder that makes 300 hp at 325 lb-ft of torque, which is available as a 7-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic, and the 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 that produces 330 hp at 415 lb-ft of torque that is also paired with a 10-speed automatic. The Raptor comes exclusively with the 3.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost V6, which makes up to 418 hp at 440 lb-ft of torque. The different powertrains also enable different towing capacities. The 2.3-liter 4-cylinder and 2.7-liter V6 both manage up to 3,500 lbs worth of towing, while the 3.0-liter V6 can tow up to 4,500 lbs.

Off-Roading Performance

The Bronco features two distinct drivetrain configurations for its 4×4 capabilities, including a part-time selectable engagement thanks to the Electronic Shift On The Fly two-speed transfer case. The selectable modes change the torque output based on the road or terrain conditions. There is also the advanced 4×4 system with automatic on-demand engagement, designed to give you the kind of stability and torque transfer to rock crawl, hill climb, or engage in mudding.

The performance capabilities also tie in with the GOAT Modes or the Go Over Any Terrain Modes. This includes the seven standard modes, starting with Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Sand, Mud, and Rock Crawl. The Stroppe Special Edition has access to an eighth special mode in the form of the Baja Mode. With the 17-inch wheels and available 33-inch, 35-inch, and 37-inch all-terrain tires, you can take the 2025 Bronco onto all sorts of different terrain with ease or use the midsize SUV for daily driving. Stability is also a big part of its feature set, with the electric power-assisted steering and electric parking brake. You also have Hill Start Assist and access to Trail Control to seamlessly trek off-road.

Capabilities

Impressive Suspension

The Bronco is designed to get the most out of its performance thanks to its suspension and articulation. This rests within its High-Performance Suspension System, also known as the HOSS. Over the years, since the Bronco has been brought back to the market, this system has been tweaked and upgraded, with the latest version for the 2025 model year being the HOSS 4.0 system, featuring the FOX live-valve 3.1 internal bypass semi-active shock dampers. The HOSS also coincides with improved axle strength, better springs, and the electronic front stabilizer bar disconnect so you can get maximum articulation out of your off-road traversal.

Off-Roading Dimensions

The 2025 Bronco has a ground clearance of up to 11.6 inches and the ability to ford through up to 37 inches of water. This allows the Bronco a lot of versatility when it comes to its capabilities when scaling off-road obstacles and traversing difficult terrain. The suspension system, combined with the clearance and tires, enables the Bronco to achieve a max approach angle of up to 47.2 degrees when properly equipped, a max breakover angle of up to 30.8 degrees, and a max departure angle of 40.5 degrees. The electronic-locking rear axle is also useful for establishing better traction control on wet or slippery surfaces.

Versatile Exterior

You can also enjoy your outdoor adventures with soft or hard-top configurations in a two-door or four-door design. With the two-door configuration, you can seat up to four people across two rows, while the four-door can seat up to five people with two up front and a split bench in the rear. The open-air design also allows you to customize the roof with different options based on your preferences or completely remove the roof and doors so you can properly experience the great outdoors. Additional accessories and packages are also available for tents, cargo nets, cargo dividers, towing, and auxiliary switches, so you can get the most out of the Bronco when it comes to its off-road modularity and utility.

Impressive Cargo Capacities

You also have access to a cargo volume of up to 22.4 cu.ft. of space in the storage area behind the rear seats or 52.3 cu.ft. of space with the rear seats folded down in the two-door variant. There is 35.6 cu.ft. of space behind the second row and 77.6 cu.ft. of space with the rear seats folded down in the four-door variant. You have access to even more space with the soft-top iteration of the four-door Bronco, with 38.3 cu.ft. of space behind the second row and up to 83 cu.ft. of space with the second row folded down, perfect for storing lots of cargo, camping equipment, or survival gear for long treks beyond the city limits.

Convenience

The black and multicolored interior is shown in a 2025 Ford Bronco Freewheeling.

Comfort

Comfort and convenience are big factors that help domesticate the very rugged Bronco. While the Base trim may come with manual climate control and air conditioning, as you move up the trim line you have access to more advanced convenience features such as the dual-zone electronic automatic climate control. You also have cloth seats with 6-way manual driver and front passenger seats to start with, but if you want access to the more lavish options, the upper-end trims provide you with Marine Grade Vinyl with heated front seats.

Interior Functionality

Available rubber floor mats, optional cargo management, and standard cargo area protection make it convenient to store items in the Bronco or retrieve them while keeping them safe. You can also remotely access the 2025 Ford Bronco using features like remote keyless entry or remote start, thanks to the FordPass Connect functionality. Alternatively, you can access many of your favorite smartphone apps via the AppLink service or wirelessly connect your smartphone via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the Ford SYNC 4 infotainment suite. You have a standard 12-inch HD touchscreen across the entire trim line, with a matching 12-inch digital driver display cluster and enhanced voice recognition for system commands and navigation support you can access without using any buttons or tactile controls.

You also have access to SiriusXM 360L along with 911 Assist, which gives the Bronco a lot of versatility when it comes to safety. This works in conjunction with the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite, which includes collision mitigation systems and active driver-assist features to keep you and your loved ones safe on the road. From the Belt-Minder to the AdvanceTrac with stability management and Trailer Sway Control, the 2025 Bronco is filled to the brim with all of the necessary active and passive safety functions to keep you safe both on and off the road.
